Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka is an American-British sitarist and musician. She is also the very first and youngest female to win a British House of Commons Award. Anoushka shankar is one of India's rising stars in the sitar. She is the daughter of Ravi Shankar and a former student. Born in London, she spent the early years of her life traveling between London as well as New Delhi. In New Delhi, she made her debut when she was only thirteen years of age.
